Jean-Louis Le Cabellec attracts all energy; the one from his environment, from the matter and from the audience. |
| He dances with the elements and uses them. Consciously he brings forward the morphological singularity of his body which becomes the principal point of interest. The body itself reflecting the nature, the inside of the body embodying the environment. |

Attracted by the movement of the body and its muscles, every detail becomes dance, guiding the sight, making us forget all distance. |
| During some cessions, Jean-Louis uses materials; plastics, fabrics, as artificial cocoons allowing us to better apprehend the Chrysalis in its waiting state. This state becoming the subject of these photographic sessions. |

The skin, as omnipresent element, establishes the relation between the inside and the outside. It fulfils the task of border of the body to its environment and represents the organic link sensitive to the inside life of the dancer. This organ undergoing the variations of the body and his environment therefore constitutes the working surface of the photographer. |
